Happy Chinese New Year!

today, i went to my grandmother's place and she gave us to eat the original Teow Chew kuih...

well, actually i don't even know what is that kuih's name. LOL...

hmm... to tell the truth, i don't know how to eat that kuih also... haha!

sat there for more than one hour, my grandmother thought that we will eat lunch at her place. so she decided to cook for our part. when i see her bangkuang char, her soup, her vege and her chicken, gosh... that looks very nice.

but we didn't have our lunch there though... at first my brother refused to call her ah mah because he thinks that he has only one ah mah... swt. = =
that was a dangerous part! LOL...

anyway, these are all my favourite dishes and food during the Chinese New Year~

well, my brother went to bed early last night and asked us to wake him up at 11.59pm but he ended up waking up at around 6am in the morning, today.

on the other hand, i stayed up late online and went to bed at 2am.
sigh... nobody online and i guess all of them must be celebrating christmas out there.

but, anyway the feeling was good and i enjoyed my christmas-alone-with-my-computer yesterday night.

i like the christmas atmosphere on the Christmas Eve which i cant describe it...

well, after my brother opened up the christmas present and i took the picture of it, i was about going to bed again~

but my mother asked me to wake up and go for dim sum breakfast.

the sky was still dark but i like the atmosphere in the christmas morning. you see, the breeze is cool and the air is fresh...

had our dim sum and i have to pay. the total bill is about rm26.80 ...

my brother's present cost me rm120 and my father's rm40 like that...
total rm190.

went home, played game whole day. my brother played his new gameboy (made in china) and PS, i played online game. swt...

ok today is a public holiday... but i got work...

haha... today i went to Thai restaurant for my lunch...

well, at first the driver, Ms Loh said that she wana go KFC to eat... but because the other girl didnt join us for lunch (replaced puasa again) , so she said she wana go to Prontip Restaurant which served us Tomyam.

we invited Mr Lee to join us!

LOL... didnt expect he will treat us for lunch though...!

at first i thought that it's a steamboat buffet lunch... but it came out as there's no steamboat, have the buffet only...

the first thing i walked in the restaurant, they have the pleasant smell...

wah so nice...

but i couldn't find where the smell came from... i think it's from the air cond... =X

i didn't know there all self service one LOL...

omg... when i first saw the buffet, i thought that i wouldnt know how to eat...

anyway, luckily i still know how to eat a few~ haha...

the fried bee hoon is quite nice also... the green curry, lala and the fried chicken also not bad... haha... and the white tom yam! so nice! quite sour! haha...

well, the fried rice really quite nice... and the sambal "heh bee" also ok... well, the sambal... very spicy ok! i ate til... sweating and keep on drink that weird "kekwa" (because it's kind of very sweet...) and my whole tounge was numbed after i ate the sambal!

this is the laksa... the gravy is not bad but spicy also... i feel it is juz average only...

i dun eat nangka, that's why i didnt have it in my bowl~

that red colour thing... at first i thought it was jelly... but when i ate it, omg... tastes funny!

ok i duno what that red colour thing called... i asked my colleagues but they say duno how to tell me as they duno how to translate that word into english for me! swt...

anyway, i asked my mother so she said it's chestnut and people called it "ma tai" , but i duno if it is really ma tai or not la...

LOL...

well, this is the place i went lorr... Prontip Restaurant... which served the original recipe of Thai food... quite cheap anyway... public holiday buffet lunch only RM12.90 without tax! haha...!

actually my former classmate, had planned a trip to pantai Kerachut on the 1st October which was yesterday...

my parents didn't allow me to go as they said it's very dangerous especially when we go for the jungle trekking... =S perhaps?

anyway, few days before 1st Oct, it started to rain heavily in Penang.
even yesterday also rained during early in the morning...
so i duno if my friends still proceed to their original plan or not...
haha!

yesterday i watched my korean drama, Time Between Dog and Wolf...

sigh... i was so sad and down after watched the part where the main character, Xiu Xian, lost his memory and forgot his adopted father thus witnessed the bad guy to kill his adopted father and was misunderstood by his best friend, son of his adopted father that Xiu Xian is the one who killed his father...

LOL... i guess i was too carried out watching all these dramas...

so, today as i was asking Su Ching to view my blog (i'd uploaded her pic)... she asked me to view her frienster, too as she's also uploaded pic of me there...

haha anyway, i found this is the prettiest pic snapped by her phone... (i guess so because i feel that i looked ok on that pic) LOL... =X

Our Malaysia's 51st birthday!

today it is a public holiday for all the states in Malaysia as it is our 51st National Day!

well, guess what?

i'd spent almost whole day sitting in front of my computer

kinda boring life isn't it?

last nite, the Penangites celebrated our National Day at Komtar there!

omg...

i think it must be very meriah lorr~

(from what i read from the newspaper this morning!)

i felt that this year's celebration was kinda unique and special

because this year they celebrated

at the Penang Road where our once famous building during 80-90s,

Komtar situated at...

i believe that this year's celebration venue

will create more awareness among the penangites...

hmm how to explain ar? LOL... =X

i think by celebrating at there will promote our Komtar area kua...

LOL...

since the penangites has already abondoned our Komtar for so long d...

so, this year it would be a fresh start

in order for our Komtar to be revived!

today there's a food fair at pisa there...

i think it was organised by the pure lotus =X

its a charity food fair anyway...

actually i went there not because of the food fair...

there was a home fair at the indoor stadium there...

but actually it has nothing to see at there lorr...

since we reached there d then somemore saw the food fair wor...

so we went there walk one round...

omg...

there got so many people! it was so hot!

because i tak sampai hati to buy the dvd la!
