Happy Chap Goh Meh

this is the day where all the Teow Cheow people celebrate it with a grand celebration... (i think so because i was told about it when i was a child)

it is said that we must eat the bubur cha cha on this day...

Chap Goh Meh is also known as Chinese Valentine's Day, and in Penang, it is said that the young ladies will throw the mandarin oranges into the sea at Esplanade while the guys will pick it up at the other end... =S

anyway, i went back to Kampar today and they said that today got something very special about the moon! it's like the moon will be having some eclipse like that and it seldom can be seen in Malaysia!

when i reach my house in Kampar at about 8pm... suddenly my housemate told me that there was a lightning and it burns out the hill. (since my friend saw the red colour thingy spread quite fast on top of the hill... LOL...) = =

i rushed to see it and i ran back to take my digital camera just to snap that~
and it turns out that my housemate told me it's actually one big round moon!

it was so beautiful and i can't get my feets out of there... *swt*

i think after 10pm, this is the pic i took when the moon became back to normal...?

Happy Chinese New Year!

today, i went to my grandmother's place and she gave us to eat the original Teow Chew kuih...

well, actually i don't even know what is that kuih's name. LOL...

hmm... to tell the truth, i don't know how to eat that kuih also... haha!

sat there for more than one hour, my grandmother thought that we will eat lunch at her place. so she decided to cook for our part. when i see her bangkuang char, her soup, her vege and her chicken, gosh... that looks very nice.

but we didn't have our lunch there though... at first my brother refused to call her ah mah because he thinks that he has only one ah mah... swt. = =
that was a dangerous part! LOL...

anyway, these are all my favourite dishes and food during the Chinese New Year~

well, my brother went to bed early last night and asked us to wake him up at 11.59pm but he ended up waking up at around 6am in the morning, today.

on the other hand, i stayed up late online and went to bed at 2am.
sigh... nobody online and i guess all of them must be celebrating christmas out there.

but, anyway the feeling was good and i enjoyed my christmas-alone-with-my-computer yesterday night.

i like the christmas atmosphere on the Christmas Eve which i cant describe it...

well, after my brother opened up the christmas present and i took the picture of it, i was about going to bed again~

but my mother asked me to wake up and go for dim sum breakfast.

the sky was still dark but i like the atmosphere in the christmas morning. you see, the breeze is cool and the air is fresh...

had our dim sum and i have to pay. the total bill is about rm26.80 ...

my brother's present cost me rm120 and my father's rm40 like that...

went home, played game whole day. my brother played his new gameboy (made in china) and PS, i played online game. swt...

Christmas Eve '08

having holiday mood right now and feels lazy~

went out for lunch with Esther (roadline supplier), Amin and Adnan today...

since Ms. Loh was longing for chapati yesterday, En. Adnan promised to bring her to eat chapati today and they meant it!

ok , to tell the truth, i never eat chapati before and i dun feel like eating it.

i thought they will have sort of roti telur, roti canai, something like that... too bad, they dun have it!

so, Adnan asked if i want to eat rice and since i want to diet, i chose to eat two pieces of chapati!

*anyway, they asked me to try that*

well, the food is not bad and strangely, that chapati has no smell at all. (i mistaken chapati as tosai)

i ate quite alot and i thought of treating them because i thought it would be cheap you see...

but to my surprise, the total bill cost us about rm60 and Esther insist to treat us! she dont even want to divide it into six people to pay!

feel sorry to her because she have to treat us and she wishes me good luck and all the best for my studies...

sigh...

thanks anyway.


then at night, i stay at home (as usual) and feels lazy to reply friend's msg...
also feel very tired and wants to go to bed early...

but i ended up napping for a while.
well, ok why i have to stayed up so late?

hmm... that was because i'm waiting for my brother to open up his christmas present and i wanted to take photo of it.

actually i prefer to wish it as Happy Mooncake Festival lorr...
but today, when i was in Pg Corner they told me that the actual wish is Happy Mid-Autumn Festival... swt...

well, anyway does it matter? =S
sigh... today i feel that it would be a very special day lorr for those who's in love... haha...

LOL... it would be very romantic for those who is single and their loved one proposed to them asking them to be their partner... omg... so romantic!

at first i thought of buying mooncake for my grandmother one... but din buy at last... LOL... because no transport to go to her place? because no time? or is it juz my excuse?
swt... i'm a bad granddaughter! = =

today is a mooncake festival but i duno how to eat mooncake at all! i dun think i got eat before! LOL... but even if i do eat before... maybe i juz ate the skin nia... =X LOL!

haha well, actually i dun like to eat the yolk la... dun ask me why... because i also duno why i dun like to eat yolk...

but i really wana try the jelly and ice cream eh mooncake leh... LOL... but til now i not yet try also! hmm... i also wana eat the pandan one... but i dun wan yolk eh mooncake! got such cake bo? haha... swt...

hopeless me...

i read from The Star that tonight can make a wish at the moon leh! maybe our wish will be granted! but i din make a wish yet! sigh... i guess its late again! sigh!
