Site Visit to UTAR Phase Two

On the April 8th 2009, Built Environment Society organised one site visit to the UTAR phase two which are currently under construction.

I was one of the committee there but I guess I didnt do my work as I dont know what I suppose to do on that day...? *sigh*

It was early in the morning and we have to gather at the lab to take our safety helmet... I was told that the safety helmets were limited, so better dont be late. We were supposed to gather at 9.30am but we reached at 9.15am...

On the day before, I was told by YL that Andrew, Hui Kok and herself wont be coming to the site visit... Sigh... I was kinda disappointed though because I thought it would be nice if they were to joining us right?

Back to the topic. After we got all our safety helmet, we walked to the construction site...

We have to go through the grasses and muds before we can enter into the site as the site workers didnt open the access gate for us... = =

It is a wow when we entered into the site...! Imagine this... Five-storey of library building...?

Hmm... were briefed by the Project Manager there.

Great. After we had our site visit... Chin Hooi suggested that we go to Kam Ling, Kampar old town to eat rice for our lunch...

He said if the food there not nice, he will chop off his little bro and fried it... = = but honestly, the food there were very nice and it tastes like home...!!

Gosh... I ate one and a half bowl of rice... which makes them say that I'm going to become fatter and fatter... = = hohoho... Hui Kok shared half of the portion of rice with me... that is why I only eat additional half a bowl... =X or else I will become fatter...!!!

Omg... I totally forgot to take photos of our lunch on that day!!! What a waste... = = *sigh*

We joked and laughed and I got teased til no voice out on that day... >.<

... and Ling Ling was mistaken that HK likes me on that day!!! What the fish...? HK must be crazy if he hears that! LOL...!!!

Low Risk High Return?

Today got bullied again... *sigh*
Chin Hooi said I'm low risk but high return lorr! !#$%^& = =

and today whole class laughed at me because I pronounced something wrongly... *sigh*

What did I say til everyone laugh at me? *sigh*
I actually wanted to say them cruel for teasing me... and I spoke in broken mandarin... *swt*
and guess what? My pronouncation was wrong!!! I said 铲人 instead of 残忍 ...
LOL...

Later on Bulu Guy wrote in white board showing me the difference between 铲人 and 残忍 ~
Haha... then let my lecturer say them lorr! He said they cannot say me like that because I don't know how to speak in mandarin ma~~~

Hmm... anyway when I was in the class I don't really understand what are they talking about, I mean the differences between that two words...

Then when I came home, only then I understand what they actually mean when I asked my housemates about it... *LOL*

Anyway, for those who don't know how to read the chinese words (like me), I'd got the pinyin and also the meaning of those words d... *sigh*

Feeling So Lucky

I'm so grateful to have you guys as my friends...

5th March 2009 last Thursday,
I managed to finish revising my Finance, thanks to you...
I managed to correct my answer during the test, thanks to you...
I'm able to be myself on that day, again, thanks to you...

6th March 2009,
I was late for CPM1 quiz, thanks for those who called me up (although my phone was in a silent mode)...
I just woke up and still blurry, thanks to you for rushing to my place and fetch me to class...
Thanks to you for noticing my absentee in class...

Although I don't how to do most of the questions in Financial test and CPM1 quiz, I'm still grateful to have you guys in my life...

For those who were willing to called me up and accompanied me, shared with me and comforted me throughout these two days, I'm greatly appreciate you guys as my precious friends although sometimes we may have some conflicts...

Second Trip to Kampar

on the 12th Dec 2008, i went to Kampar with JY, HL, JY's friend newly named Ah Hock and his gf, Corene...

few days before that day, JY sms-ed me saying that they will depart at 7.30am as i told JY that if 9am depart, it will be too late.

i was told that i juz need to bring two passport size photos and one photostated IC...

so i juz prepare these two thing the day before.

in the morning, i woke up at 6am and went to bath. went to sit for bus at 7am, i reached the bus stop at 7.30am. LOL... but i have to wait for JY for more than 10 minutes and guess what? he was late! haha...

ok, he was our driver and he is the only one who drove all the way from Pg to Kampar and from Kampar to Pg. he asked his friend (i duno how to write his name) Ah Hock, to help him drive but his friend refused! LOL!

so i offered to drive but he dun dare to let me drive~ = =

we went to McD for the breakfast and gosh! i was like a lamp post because there were two couple inside the car! swt...

i ate a lot for my breakfast and JY teased me... saying that i'm fat!

omg... really worried bout my gaining weight prob... =X

we depart from the McD at 8.36am and reached Kampar bout 10am.
fast isnt it? haha!

then we spent more than four hours in Kampar, enquire alot of thing regarding our course, tour around the campus and rent rooms...

due to the limited rooms for the single one, we have to share bedroom because the single rooms were all rent out! swt!

i have to share room with Corene, and JY shared with Ah Hock. the four of us were the future housemate!

after we signed, we went for lunch at Tesco Kampar. we ate at the food court there and to make the things worst, i juz point out what i want to eat because i duno how to speak in Cantonese nor Mandarin!

we went back at 3.30pm and reached Pg after more than one and half hour... thanks to JY and HL because they dropped me home and we paid JY rm30 each~

well, he was like our taxi driver and HL was like his cashier! LOL...

Kampar Visit

well, i went to Kampar again yesterday just to enquire things about my course and find houses for me to rent...

will blog more bout it in my next post as i didnt upload the photos yet...

Kampar Campus

well, ok i went to pay a visit to UTAR campus at Kampar early last month and it took me about three hours to reach there!

the journey is far and sigh... it's tiring.

the purpose i went there was to see the environment and the life in Kampar and also, to ask things that i wants to know.

according to one of the staff there, i have to submit my application form by then because they need at least three weeks to process my application for credit transfer...

i submitted my application form on the 22nd Nov, which was MW's birthday on the Saturday after weeks of postponing and days of waiting for the certification of my true copy certs.

well, i received my offer letter on the 5th Dec, which was yesterday and to my horror, they offered me to study at year one one trimester and one subject. omg!

swt... which means i have to wait til May 2009 for second year intake! *according to JY*

i'm really going to faint!

at first when JY told me that they offered him year one because of the changes in their syllabus, i somemore thought that they did some mistake on his application because he sent them our juniors' syllabus to them.

but i din expect that they really din make a mistake and i have to go and study one subject in year one! sigh...
